I’m Dr. José Briones, Psy.D., a psychologist and member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ), with over 20 years of experience helping people understand and manage anxiety.
Since 2004, anxiety has been at the heart of my clinical work, teaching, and research. Having known anxiety inside and out, I’ve helped many people find healthier ways to deal with it—and I would like to help you too.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and I tailor therapy to each person using evidence-based tools from ACT, CBT, mindfulness, DBT, and related approaches to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of your life.
